How many sports can I participate in for the @ Home Fall Games?
You may participate in up to 2 sports.
Will I get a medal after I submit my score?
We won’t be handing out traditional medals for @Home Fall Games, but those who register and submit their scores will receive an email certificate and other fun incentives. You won’t want to miss out!
What if I don’t have all the equipment needed for a specific sport or event?
No problem! We’ve included modifications for each event that will help you find equipment substitutions if necessary.
How do I submit my scores?
Scores should be submitted online from September 21-23, 2020. Click the “submit scores” link in the top navigation, choose your sport and fill in the scores for the sport(s) and event(s) you competed in. Make sure to submit your scores by 11:59 p.m. Central time on September 23 to be included in the awards ceremonies.
Can I practice or compete with my coach or other Special Olympics teammates in person?
No, in-person practice and competition with Special Olympics are not currently able to happen. You may practice or compete with others in your household.
What if I don’t have access to a computer or the internet?
Ask a friend, family member, coach or your Area Director to help you register and submit your scores if you don’t have access to a computer or the internet.
What other activities will take place?
We’ll have special training activities to help you compete at your highest level, as well as fun activities geared around health, Unified Champion Schools, Young Athletes, and more. Stay tuned to the schedule to learn more!
What about the dance?
The dance will take place on Zoom on Thursday, October 1 at 6:00 p.m. Central! We’ll have music and you’ll have the chance to see all your Special Olympics friends. Come dressed casually or fancy – it’s up to you, but be ready to DANCE! More information (and the Zoom link) will be sent to registered participants when we get closer to the event.
