Healthy Athletes

Special Olympics Tennessee will be releasing daily Health Performance Station videos at noon from Tuesday, September 8 through Saturday, September 12 to help you stay healthy at Fall Games. 


Make sure to watch the 5 upcoming videos and hear athletes from around the state talk about how you can reach your highest potential this competition season! 


Remember to make the pledge to be stronger and to stay healthier after watching each video to receive a Special Olympics Tennessee Health Awareness Certificate. Scroll below for the links to each video's pledge. 

Tuesday, September 8th

Nutrition

Alex from Memphis has a message for you: snack healthy! Eating nutritious foods is one of the most important ways that you can get your body strong for sports. 

After you've watched Alex, follow this link to sign the pledge and receive a Healthy Athletes Performance Station Certificate!

Hydration

Emotional Wellness & Competition Readiness

Athlete and coach Teagan talks us through how we can stay emotionally well and competition ready. Muscles aren't the only thing that gets you to the finish line...your brain does a lot of the work too!
